The Suzuki Method utilizes the principle of learning to play an instrument before learning to read music. This idea parallels a child's leaning to speak their language before they learn to read it. Modelling the sound they hear on their recordings, students develop the ability to memorize music and perform on their instruments with good tone and musicality. Parents are a vital part of the equation as they take notes at the lessons and practice with the students at home.
